Our Terms & Conditions cover the do’s and don’t of News Natter. These may be revised at any time. If they are changed, we will update the date above and send all members a notification advising of the changes.

News Natter Account

One of the main features we offer is the News Natter Account. This a free account in which anyone can sign up to and connect with other readers in our community. Our account is only available to people aged 18 and over so please only sign up if you meet the minimum age requirement.

A News Natter Account allows you to post activity updates, comment on content, speak to other members, engage in our forums and more. A lot of these features allow you to post content therefore anything you post must NOT contain the following:

  • Offensive or abusive language, as well as any kind of hate speech
  • Posts intended to harass, impersonate, or defame others
  • Attempts to abuse or expose the private information of others
  • Obscene or sexually explicit content
  • Spam, phishing posts, and any actions intended to deface this site
  • Discussion of software piracy and similar topics

Any kind of bullying or unacceptable behaviour is not tolerated at News Natter. Any sign of this will result in permanent deletion of your account and also a permanent ban from using out site again.

You also have the ability to upload images to our website, please ensure that any images also meet the guidelines above and do not cause offence to other users. You can view more about uploading images on our privacy page.

We want to create a postive, fun environment for users to discuss and share news that they’re passionate about. We’re confident that you can help us do this while meeting our community guidelines.

Visitors

We know that not every reader will have an account with us. If you are a visitor, you still have the option to comment on our posts. Please ensure that your comments meet the guidelines set out in the ‘News Natter Account’ section above.

Backups

We regularly back up our website to ensure that user data is kept safe should we ever experience any technical issues. Our backups are stocked in our hosting panel which is fully secure and only accessible by us. We don’t rely on any third party services to perform backups on our behalf.

We are a news website so we will regularly share links to social networking sites and websites. If we are sharing an external link, we will either show the link in full or tell you that the link is taking you away from our website.

We also check all links before we post them to ensure that they are valid and safe to click.

Acceptance of these terms

You acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and agree to all its terms and conditions. By using the Website or its Services you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorised to use or access the Website and its Services.
