England began easing their lockdown restrictions a few weeks ago following scientific advice confirming that the peak of the virus had been reached.
Today, Non-Essential shops were granted the option to open their stores to customers as long as they adhered to hygiene and social distancing measures.
One store that was welcoming their opening was Primark. They had queues leading up to the doors of their stores. Primark had put social distances measures in place which included a queue controlled system for accessing their stores, hand sanitiser and a limit as to how many people could be in the store at the one time.
Other stores are also adapting similar measures including JD, H Samuel and more.
Did you go out shopping in England today? What did you make of your new shopping experience?
Stores in Scotland and Wales are not to open as yet but we are expecting an announcement shortly as to when this is likely to happen.
